How does our current user track down product by serial number.

Issue PO then recieve.

When recieve the PO, you need to enter/scan the SN into system. System will record it in product info.

When do SO, you can select SN and deliver. 

To trackdown the product by SN, you can go to inventory movement report and check like screenshot below. Every SN will show in the list, the incoming record & outgoing record will be showing in the list. You can download it as excel too.
