Go to Purchases > Purchase Orders Standard & Dropship) > select a dropship Purchase Order > at Convert to shipment button, click the arrow to select Partial Shipment and proceed the shipment by editing the product quantity > click Save when done.

The shipment will appear in the Purchase order's SHIPMENTS tab and the partial shipment status can be seen on the Purchase Order listing page.
