Purpose: Automating this process so you do not need to manually create production to reduce raw material stock upon sales order being issued.
Go to the Company Settings Module. In APP SETTINGS, scroll down to the SALES ORDER setting.
Turn on "Automatically create finished production orders for all items with raw materials after creating a sales order"
Remember to SAVE your settings in the top right corner of the window.
Result:
After a Sales Order with products that need raw materials is placed, a finished production order will automatically appear in the Product Module with the status 'In Progress'.
When the production is done, click the "Finish" action. Now, the status of this production order will change to "Completed"
