To create Orders in a customized workflow
In the workflow task, click 'Create Sales Order' button.
Now, the system will direct you to Sales Order module, you will need to add customer and items to the order with necessary details like shipment method, payment method, additional charge, etc.
After creating Sales Orders, if you have set approval process for Sales Order before then now it will be needed to approved
After Sales Orders placed, they will be listed in the Sales Order tab in the workflow task with status about shipment as well as payment.
If anywise you don't have enough stock, you can click on Create Purchase Order button to generate a backorder to supplier. These backorders will be listed in the Purchase Order tab.
To generate PDFs or Customized Documents
Example: Custom workflow for export business
If your business exports goods internationally, your workflow may include steps like:
Cargo Reception
Billing
Payment
Gate Pass
In Cargo Reception step, fields may include: Bill of lading, container number, container size, date, etc.
Click 'Convert to next step' to move on to the next.
Simply click ‘Print PDF’ to generate a customized document with your workflow data.
