Custom Workflow | How to issue Orders and generate PDFs in Customized Workflow?

Specifically for business (3PL, logistic management, process billing) that needs to create phases and issue sales/purchase for each phase

To create Orders in a customized workflow

In the workflow task, click the 'Create Sales Order' button.

Now, the system will direct you to the Sales Order module, where you will need to add the customer and items to the order with the necessary details like shipment method, payment method, additional charge, etc.

After creating Sales Orders, if you have set an approval process for Sales Orders before, then now it will be needed to approved

After Sales Orders are placed, they will be listed in the Sales Order tab in the workflow task with status about shipment as well as payment.

If you don't have enough stock, you can click on the Create Purchase Order button to generate a backorder to the supplier. These backorders will be listed in the Purchase Order tab.

To generate PDFs or Customized Documents

Example: Custom workflow for export business

If your business exports goods internationally, your workflow may include steps like:

  • Cargo Reception

  • Billing

  • Payment

  • Gate Pass

In the Cargo Reception step, fields may include: Bill of lading, container number, container size, date, etc.

  • Click 'Convert to next step' to move on to the next step.

  • Simply click ‘Print PDF’ to generate a customized document with your workflow data.
