For products that have multiple units of measurement, you can choose the preferred UOM to perform your stocktake to save time.
For example, if you purchase products in packs or cartons (additional UOM) but sell them individually by piece (base UOM), you can now perform a stocktake by the UOM you want, such as carton instead of base UOM.
How to perform a stocktake using additional UOM?
Step 1: Go to the Inventory module, open Stocktake, and create a new stocktake.
Step 2: Select the warehouse/section, and the products you want to stocktake. Click Create New when done.
Step 3: Change the UOM
The system will now generate a stocktake form with the counted qty with the base UOM.
To change this, click Edit in the top right corner, then select your preferred UOM from the Unit dropdown list. The system will now auto-convert the counted quantity for you.
Click Save when done.
Step 4: Perform your stocktake and click Complete Stocktake once finished.
