Stock location can be seen as your warehouse where your stocks will be housed… At least one stock location needs to be setup for inventory management.

To add a new warehouse

On the settings navigation panel, click General Setup

On the General Setup page, click the Location icon

You can add multiple stock location and multiple sections to each warehouse. The first location created will be your default stock location. You can select a different default stock location if subsequent locations are created.

When creating Delivery Order or Stock Receive transactions, the default stock location will be populated automatically unless you have specified a different default stock location for your Product in the Product details page.

The physical stock count of your goods in the stock location will be affected (Increase / decrease) upon each successful transaction.
