After products are assigned to a project, if a customer damages or breaks rented items during the project, you can create a Compensation Sales Order to record the loss and bill the customer properly.

Compensation Sales for Damaged Rental Items

1. In the project, click 'Compensation Sales' to open a new sales order.

2. The system will automatically set the order type to Project Compensation.

3. Add damaged items by:

  • Manually selecting products (the system will show you only products already moved to this project)

  • Scanning the barcode of the broken items

  • Importing items from a prepared Excel file

4. Click 'Save once you are done

Remove Compensation Stock

When an item is damaged, it should be removed from the project warehouse. This ensures:

  • Broken items are not returned to the original warehouse when the project ends

  • Inventory records and compensation values remain accurate

Once the compensation sales order is created:

  • Click 'Remove Compensation Stock' to remove damaged items from the project warehouse

  • The items will be transferred to the Compensation Warehouse and excluded from project inventory
