What’s new

You can now set and manage warehouse fees at both the warehouse level and the product level in EMERGE.

  • Setting fees at the warehouse level is simple and quick. It gives you a general view of your costs, which is helpful for budgeting and overall control.

  • Setting fees at the product level gives you more detail. It helps you understand the actual effort required for each product, such as special handling for fragile items or extra work for bulk picking.

Using both methods together helps you manage your warehouse more efficiently and make better decisions, especially when it comes to pricing your products.

How to set up warehouse fees in EMERGE?

Set up overall warehouse fees

Step 1: Go to General Setup and open Overall Location (Warehouse) Fees.

Step 2: Find the warehouse you want to set a fee for.

Step 3: Turn ON the toggle next to the fee type you want and enter the amount you want to charge (e.g. $200)

  • First toggle = Recurring fee (charged every month)

  • Second toggle = One-time fee (charged once only)

Step 4: Choose your charge option:

  • Certain date of current month → pick a date for the charge

  • Last day of current month → charge at month end

Step 6: Remember to click Save to confirm your settings.

Set up product warehouse fees

Step 1: Go to your Product Listing page and open the product you want to set the warehouse fee for.

Step 2: Click Manage product warehouse fee on the top right. A window will pop up showing all your warehouses.

  • Turn ON the toggle next to each warehouse you want to charge.

  • Enter the fee amount for that product in the selected warehouse (e.g. $5 per unit).

Step 3: Click Save to confirm.

Note:

  1. When setting product warehouse fees, you’ll only see the “1-time fee” option.

This is because product-level fees are meant for specific handling or storage costs like fragile, bulky, or special items, not ongoing monthly charges.

  2. Each time you process that product in the warehouse, that one-time fee will be applied.
