What's an occupied warehouse?
An occupied warehouse in EMERGE lets you define and control specific areas ( occupied section) of your warehouse for space optimization, quality control, or handling fresh products within a day.
Simply put, you set a threshold for that section in your warehouse. When the quantity of products in that section reaches the threshold, that section will no longer be available to receive more products.
How to set up a threshold for my warehouse section?
To use this feature, you need to go to the app settings and turn it on. This function is located in the system settings.
Don't forget to click Save!
Setting Up Thresholds
Step 1: Go to Company Settings and open General Setup, then navigate to Warehouse Settings.
Step 2: Select the warehouse you want to configure. Toggle on the section you'd like to set a threshold for, enter the desired quantity, then click Save.
