Step 1: Create a new Return Note
In the Purchase module, click 'Supplier Returns', then click the New Return button to create a return record.
Step 2: Enter information for the Return Note
Select the Receive Note of the order you want to return.
Enter the return quantity and add a description if needed for the returned item.
Click 'Save' when finished.
Step 3: Confirm the return
After creating the return note, its status will be 'New.'
When you’ve shipped the returned products to your supplier, click the 'Return' button at the top to confirm.
Once done, the return note will update the status as 'Returned'
Step 4: Issue supplier credit note
Click 'Add Credit Note' to open a new credit note to your supplier.
Enter the amount of the credit note and click 'Save' once done
To adjust accessibility for Return Notes, you can set up permissions in Company Settings. Lookup: Set up roles and permissions for employees
