Connecting your WooCommerce Store to EMERGE App

To connect WooCommerce Channel to EMERGE App, you need to generate Consumer key and Secret Key. Below is a sample of information you must have to connect your store to EMERGE App:

Store Name: My Store on EMERGE App (i.e Any given description to identify your store on EMERGE App)

Store URL: http://woo.shopname.com (i.e Your Store URL)

Consumer Key: ck_52bfbff27495822563078e90dkj90

Consumer Secret: cs_52bfbff2749582676sdfdf687er787

By following below steps you will be able to configure your WooCommerce Channel for integration and you will have that information:

Note: We use Store Name as Store identity so that you could specify the store you want to work with

How do I find my WooCommerce API keys?

In order to connect to your WooCommerce store, EMERGE App requires the API keys (credentials). Here is how you can find your WooCommerce API keys.

1) Login into your WooCommerce store admin. (Go to yourstore.com/wp-admin). On the left navigation, click on WooCommerce > Settings

2) Under Legacy API tab make sure the option for “Enable the REST API” is checked

Then click the Advanced tab / REST API / Add key

3) Then enter a Description, the User and Permissions before clicking Generate API Key, please note to allow Read/Write

4) Grab the Consumer Key (to enter in the API Customer Key field) and the Consumer Secret key (to enter in the API Secret Key field)


EMERGE App requires both “consumer key” and “consumer secret” along with your site to connect to your store.

Go to Settings > Permalinks > select Post name in Permalink settings

Once done, click “Connect”, the system will show a notification to inform that you have successfully connected to WooCommerce.

Next, you will click “Import data list” to fetch products and orders from WooCommerce

The system needs some time to get data from WooCommerce, it can run in the background so you can go to another tab and continue your work while waiting.

A notification will show up after all data from WooCommerce is loaded, all products and orders from WooCommerce will be shown, you can select which product or order you want to import to EMERGE App by selecting checkboxes.

Click on “IMPORT __ ITEMS” to import them to EMERGE App

A notification will show up to inform you that the system is importing data from WooCommerce to EMERGE App, there will be another notification to inform that your data was imported successfully. Please DO NOT CLOSE THE APP during the process.

The alert message will be shown when the process finished

Imported data will appear under SUCCESS tab if Items meet requirement of EMERGE App otherwise it will show up under ERROR tab

In the ERROR tab the error message will show you the reason why items were not imported successfully

ARCHIVE button use to hide the selected items

When you want to RETRY import your items, please go to your WooCommerce page for updating item’s information that meet EMERGE App requirement.

You can easily see Imported Products from WooCommerce in Product listing page.
