What is PDF Translation / PDF Template?
PDF Translation refers to the process of customizing PDF documents to suit specific needs. It involves several key functions:
Translate text to your desired language
Change text to your own business term (for example: "Sales Order" to "Pro Forma Invoice")
Hiding unnecessary information (for example: Hiding tax, discount, packing info,...)
How to create new PDF template?
Step 1: From the left menu, click on Company Setting > PDF Translation
Step 2: Select which document you want to customize then click New Template
Step 3: Customize the info on the left section (hide/show info or display new text), click Preview to see how it looks in PDF
Step 4: Click Save under the template name
How to change a template name?
Step 1: Click pencil icon Edit under the template name
Step 2: Change the name then click Change
Step 3: Click Save
How to set a PDF template as default?
A document can have many templates, but you can save time by choosing one as the default. This default template will always be used for the document.
Click on check mark icon Set as default
How to apply a PDF template to a document?
In PDF popup, scroll to PDF Translation section:
Original: EMERGE's default text
Customization: Among the PDF templates you've created, EMERGE will automatically load the Default Template. However, you have the option to choose a different template for each document.
